What is a CAE Exam? All You Need To Know

CAE Exam

CAE Exam – Along with exams like IELTS, TOEFL, and PTE, the Cambridge Advanced Certificate in English is a high-level language qualification in English. When it comes to studying abroad, Indian students can take advantage of this opportunity.

What Is CAE Exam?

CAE stands for Certificate in Advanced English in its entire form. Many institutions throughout the world recognise the CAE exam as a reliable and consistent indicator of your ability to use English in difficult academic contexts. Many Indian students are increasingly opting for the CAE instead of the IELTS while applying to international universities.

Cambridge ESOL, a department of the University of Cambridge that also develops the IELTS assessments, administers the exam. CAE is recognised as proof of strong English competence by practically all UK universities and colleges and is necessary for entrance to numerous colleges and universities. The exam is also recognised by colleges in Australia and other countries throughout the world, with CAE exam certificates recognised by 99 percent of the world’s top 100 universities.

Most foreign universities that take the CAE exam need grade B or C from overseas candidates. CAE examinations are chosen by over 60,000 people from 60 different countries. You can talk to one of our counsellors to find out if your selected course requires a CAE certification.

Who Can Take CAE?

Anyone! There is no upper age limit for CAE. Students who are taking the 10+1 or 10+2 examinations are the best prospects for the exam, although students who have finished post-secondary school can also apply, albeit some colleges require a two-year-old CAE score. If you want to study abroad after your 12th year, there are a few tests you should take first.
