However, contrary to popular belief it is not that difficult to land admissions into this university. University of Toronto’s acceptance rate keeps changing every year and accepts nearly 15,000 annually for its full-time courses. 

The University of Toronto offers an extensive range of courses to students from 159 countries and is popular for its undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs. University of Toronto’s acceptance rate for international students has allowed it to only attract talented students who aspire to become contributing members of society. The University of Toronto accepts candidates with a minimum GPA of 3.7. The application process may vary for international and national students. For instance, if you are not a Canadian resident or have not studied in Canada before, and are not applying to any other university in Canada, then you can apply as an international student using the OUAC 105 application form. The university charges $220 (11,660 INR) as application fees. The admission process starts in the fall season. Generally, January and February are the months when the registrations for admission begin.

Tests must have been taken within the last 24 months at the time of submission of any international students’ application. 

Securing admission at the University of Toronto can seem tricky. The admissions procedure is competitive yet very fair. The university currently ranks #29 among world universities by QS. The overall acceptance rate of the University is 43% but things are challenging if you are an international student at the University of Toronto. You will have to submit your English proficiency test scores, LORs, and provide evidence of your funding abilities that the university will consider. This is around 23.1% to 26%.
