The Carleton University - Entrance Scholarships for American and International High School Students ($16,000 CAD) is offered to American and International students who are entering Carleton for the first time and have no previous attendance at post-secondary educational institutions. Entrance scholarships are offered for fall entry only. The scholarship is applicable to all UG courses.  

Shortlisting Process

The selection of scholars for the Carleton University - Entrance Scholarships for American and International High School Students ($16,000 CAD) involves a multi-stage process. The scholars will be selected after a thorough assessment of all the applicants. 

Terms and Conditions

The continuation of the scholarship depends on the good academic performance of the scholars in the examinations conducted by their respective universities.

Renewal cases of stipend holders who are not promoted to the next year will not be considered for further renewal.

• The applicant who has been admitted to Carleton with an Admission Average of 95% - 100% is eligible 
• English Language proficiency Proof:
  • TOEFL: 86 (22 in writing and speaking, 20 reading and listening)
  • IELTS: 6.5 (min 6.0 each band)
  • PTE: 60 (min 60 in each Communicative Skill)
