Human Frontier Science Program invites applications for HFSP Post Doctoral Fellowship, France 2020-21 from PhD holders. The main objective of this fellowship is to support transformative research in the life sciences and encourage early-career scientists to broaden their skills by working in new fields of study and a new country.

To be eligible for this fellowship, an applicant must:

• Be a PhD degree holder in a biological discipline if applying under Long-Term Fellowships (LTF).
• Be a PhD degree holder from outside the life sciences (e.g. in physics, chemistry, mathematics, engineering or computer sciences) if applying under Cross-Disciplinary Fellowships (CDF).
• Have at least one research paper to his/her name as a lead author, either published or yet to be published in an international peer-reviewed journal.
• Propose to work in a country different than the one where he/she completed his/her 1st PhD work.
• Not have started to work in the proposed country or institution before 1st April 2019.

Note: In case the applicant is not from one of the HFSP member countries, he/she may work in any research institute of the member countries and if the candidate belongs to a member country, he/she can apply to work in any country

To apply for the fellowship, the candidate has to follow the given steps:
