Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Kolkata invites applications for IISER Kolkata Science and Engineering Research Board Junior Research Fellowship 2020 from MSc/MPhil/MTech degree holders. The fellowship is meant for the project entitled, “Life histories and growth-defence tradeoffs in grass species of Manas Terai Ecosystem, lower Assam". The selected fellows will receive a consolidated fellowship of INR 31,000 per month plus applicable HRA per SERB-DST Rules.

To be eligible, an applicant must:

• Hold an MSc/M.Phil./M.Tech in Biological Sciences/Ecology/Botany/Environmental Science/Geography/Forestry/ or closely allied subjects, with at least 55% marks
• Have qualified at least one national level exam such as NET-LS, GATE, JGEEBILS, or equivalent exams.
