Scholarship Overview

The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi invites applications for IIT Delhi Junior Research Fellowship (Study of Air Pollutant Sources) 2020 from postgraduate degree holders. The fellowship is meant for the project titled, "An Integrated Study of Air Pollutant Sources in the Delhi NCR (ASAP Delhi) (RP03405G)". The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship of INR 31,000 per month plus 24% HRA.

Selection Criteria

The selection will be based on the applicant's performance in the interview. Candidates who have worked and gained relevant experience in 'design & development of low cost portable optical sensor for the detection of PM2.5 and development of its field calibration protocol' are desirable.

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:

  • Hold a Post Graduate Degree in Environment science with NET/GATE qualification

or

  • Hold a Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Environment Engineering with NET/GATE* qualification
