Scholarship Overview
Department of Mathematics at Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar invites applications for Junior Research Fellowship 2020 from students holding a Master’s degree in Mathematics/Physics. The fellowship requires the fellows to work on the project titled, "Investigation of Mechanisms of Biological Transport Phenomena on Cellular Network Utilizing Analytical and Computational Tools". The selected fellows will receive a fellowship as per DST rules.
Benefits
The selected fellows will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 per month for first two years and INR 35,000 per month for the third year.

Eligibility
To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold a Master’s degree in Mathematics/Physics or in any related discipline with NET qualification
- Have a good academic record with a minimum of 60% marks (or 6.5-grade point out of 10) in the master's degree
- Have a good knowledge of programming, strong analytical skills and creativity
