• The scholarship is open Australian nationals.
• Must be an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander person.
• He/She must be a commencing student enrolled for the first time at Deakin University.
• The applicant must be pursuing their undergraduate bachelor degree in Trimester 2 2016 in a Commonwealth supported place.
• He/She must be enrolled in a full-time course study.
• Must not be holding a bachelor's degree or higher-level award.
• The applicant must not have received payment for an IAS.
• Must not be in receipt of a means-tested Centrelink benefit.
• Must be willing to relocate from a regional or remote area.

As part of the application process, you will also be required to upload current supporting documentation.

The supporting documentation required includes evidence of:

• your financial hardship (if applicable)
• your medical condition or disability (if applicable).

Make sure you choose the correct document type when you upload your documents as it will make a difference. If your documents are uploaded into the incorrect type they will not be considered when assessing your application.
