The Graduate School of Frontier Sciences of University of Tokyo has initiated JASSO Honors Scholarship for International Students 2021/22 to provide financial assistance for all international students enrolling for the academic year 2021-22.

Value of the  JASSO Honors Scholarship for International Students 2021/22:

Successful applicants of the  JASSO Honors Scholarship for International Students 2021/22 will receive a scholarship amount of 48,000 JPY. 

Eligibility

  • Applicants from all nationalities (except Japan) are eligible.
  • Applicants must enroll in any of the master’s/doctoral courses of study at the university.
  • Applicants must be privately financed international students.
  • Applicants who sat for the entrance examination outside of Japan and  enrolled in GSFS in April 2021.
  • Applicants who have (will have) a “college student” residential status.
