Scholarship Overview

Jawaharlal Nehru University is inviting applications for Jawaharlal Nehru University Special Centre for Molecular Medicine (SCMM) Senior Research Fellowship 2020 from MSc in Life Sciences degree holders. The fellowship is meant for an MHRD-STARS funded project entitled, "Restoration of the intestinal barrier in Enteropathogenic E. coli infections: Lysosome and cytoskeleton pathways as novel drug targets". The selected fellows will receive a consolidated salary of INR 35,000 plus 24% HRA.

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must-

  • Hold an MSc degree in Life Sciences with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent
  • Have at least two years of research experience

Candidates having previous experience in cloning, protein expression and purification; bacterial culture and fluorescence microscopy are strongly encouraged to apply. NET qualified candidates will be given preference.
