Imperial College London has established The Professor Maria Petrou PhD Scholarship to help recruit, retain and advance the careers of women in engineering, providing funds for undertaking PhD studies in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Imperial College London.

Benefits of the Maria Petrou PhD Scholarship for Women, 2021:

Successful applicants of the Maria Petrou PhD Scholarship for Women, 2021 will receive the following benefits-

• Covers tuition fees (Home & Overseas).
• Bursary (at RCUK rates + London allowance of £2,000 for 3.5 years).
• Total allowance of £700 towards conferences and travel.

Note: RCUK rate for 2021-22 is £17,560.

• Female applicants from all nationalities are eligible  for consideration for this prestigious academic scholarship. 
• Female applicants must have been made a PhD offer by the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the university.
• Applicants must demonstrate good academic achievements.
