Scholarship Overview

National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is inviting applications for National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) SARTHAK Financial Assistance Scheme 2020 from undergraduate and postgraduate students. The scheme is meant to provide financial assistance to meritorious, needy and deserving students, belonging to the economically weaker sections of society. The selected students will receive up to 100% tuition fee. 

Benefits

The selected fellows will receive the following benefits -

For undergraduate students

  • Salary slab up to INR 1.5 lakh - 100% of the tuition fee
  • Salary slab between INR 1.5 lakh and INR 2.5 lakh - 75% of the tuition fee
  • Salary slab between INR 2.5 lakh and INR 4 lakh - 25% of the tuition fee

For postgraduate students

  • Salary slab up to INR 1.5 lakh - 75% of the tuition fee
  • Salary slab between INR 1.5 lakh and INR 2.5 lakh - 50% of the tuition fee
  • Salary slab between INR 2.5 lakh and INR 4 lakh - 25% of the tuition fee

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must-

  • Be an undergraduate and postgraduate student of the regular programme of NIFT (excluding those admitted under NRI/ NRI sponsored category)
  • Fall within the parental income slab of -
    • Up to INR 1.5 lakh
    • Between INR 1.5 lakh and INR 2.5 lakh
    • Between INR 2.5 lakh and INR 4 lakh
