Scholarship Overview

The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences Bengaluru invites applications for NIMHANS Bengaluru Department of Integrative Medicine Junior Research Fellowship 2021 from postgraduate degree holders. The fellowship is on a contract basis for the DST-SATYAM project titled “Evidence-Based Validation of a Tele-Yoga Intervention in Positive Cases of COVID-19: A Controlled Pilot Study on Inflammatory Markers, T-cell Functions, and the Psychological States”. The selected candidate will receive consolidated remuneration of INR 31,000 per month plus 24% HRA.

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:

  • Not be more than 35 years of age
  • Hold an M.Sc. degree in Life Sciences with NET Qualification (Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology)
  • Have the ability to collect and process blood samples, perform cytoflowmetry and various Immunoassays
