The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences, Bengaluru invites applications for the NIMHANS Bengaluru Department of Neurophysiology (DON) Junior Research Fellowship 2021 from MPhil/Master/M.Pharm degree holders. The fellowship is on a contract basis for the project titled “Neurosteroids and Mood Disorders: Investigating the Role of Glucocorticoid System in Modulating the Effects of Finasteride". The selected candidate will receive consolidated remuneration of INR 31,000 per month plus 24% HRA.

To be eligible, an applicant must:

• Not be more than 28 years of age
• Hold an M.Phil in Neurophysiology/Neurosciences, OR
• Hold a Master’s Degree in Neurosciences/Physiology/Life Sciences/M.S (Pharm), OR
• Hold an M.Pharm. degree in Pharmacology or Biotechnology or equivalent Master’s degree with a good academic record

1-2 years of Research experience in Neurophysiology/Neuroscience/Neuropsychopharmacology
