The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela invites applications for the NIT Rourkela Department of Computer Science & Engineering Junior Research Fellowship 2021 from MTech/ME/BE/BTech degree holders. The fellowship is a temporary post for the project titled, “Digital Mental Healthcare for Older Adults Via VisuallyInduced Hippocampal Activation Therapy”. The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship up to INR 31,000 per month for the first two years and INR 35,000 per month for the third year.

• Mere possession of minimum qualification does not guarantee an invitation to the interview. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the merit and need of the project.

To be eligible, an applicant must:

• Hold an MTech/ME/(after BTech/BE) in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)/ IT with 60% marks
• Hold a BTech/BE in CSE with a GATE score 
• Hold an MSc (with GATE) in Computer Science/Information Technology
• Have knowledge in Cognitive Science
