Scholarship Overview

The One-year Entrance Scholarships- BSc Programs are awarded by McGill University in Canada. This scholarship is offered by McGill's Scholarships and Student Aid Office to first-time university students entering a full-time undergraduate degree programme. The One-year Entrance Scholarships- BSc Programs are applicable to all undergraduate degree programmes.

Shortlisting Process

The selection of scholars for the One-year Entrance Scholarships- BSc Programs involves a multi-stage process. The scholars will be selected after a thorough assessment of all the applicants. 

Terms and Conditions

The continuation of the scholarship depends on the good academic performance of the scholars in the examinations conducted by their respective universities.

Renewal cases of stipend holders who are not promoted to the next year will not be considered for further renewal.

 

Eligibility

  • Applicants must get a minimum overall average of 60% in each year.
  • Subjects must include mathematics and two of biology, chemistry, or physics in Class 11 and 12.
  • English Language Proof:
    • IELTS: 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component
    • TOEFL: 90 with a minimum score of 21 in each component
    • PTE: 65 with Individual component scores of 60 or better

  • Unofficial Transcripts.
  • Copy of Class 10 Board exam and school results.
  • School results for Class 11 and mid-year Class 12, If already written, the final Class 12 Certificate is required in lieu of the school results.
