Raman Research Institute invites applications for Raman Research Institute Soft and Adaptive Materials Lab Research Assistantship 2021 from postgraduate degree holders. The assistantship is meant for the project titled, "Designing and characterization of smart, stimuli-responsive materials using colloidal particles and biopolymers". The selected candidate will receive a monthly emolument of INR 23,500 per month plus 24% HRA.

To be eligible, an applicant must -

• Be below 35 years of age as of the last date of application
• Hold an MSc (Physics / Biophysics / Biochemistry) or ME/MTech (Material Science / Chemical Engineering / Polymer Physics)

Desirable Qualification:

• Large scale synthesis and characterization of colloidal particles
• Bright Field, Fluorescence and Confocal microscopy
• Basic instrumentation
• Basic image processing and programming
