Scholarship Overview

The University of Guelph International Entrance Scholarship is awarded by the University of Guelph in Canada. This scholarship supports international fee-paying students who have demonstrated academic excellence. A limited number of non-renewable international scholarships ranging in value from $5,500 to $8,500 CDN are available to students that have not attended post-secondary studies and are entering the University of Guelph in September.

Shortlisting Process

The selection of scholars for the University of Guelph International Entrance Scholarship involves a multi-stage process. The scholars will be selected after a thorough assessment of all the applicants. 

Terms and Conditions

The continuation of the scholarship depends on the good academic performance of the scholars in the examinations conducted by their respective universities.

Renewal cases of stipend holders who are not promoted to the next year will not be considered for further renewal.

 

Eligibility

  • Applicants must have passed 12th in the required academic stream with strong First Division standing with a minimum average of 80%.
  • Students entering post-secondary studies for the first time and registering in the first semester of a degree program in the fall semester.
  • To renew the award, applicants must remain registered in full-time studies and achieve a minimum 80.0% average in their previous academic year of full-time study (typically fall/winter).
  • TOEFL: With no individual scaled score of less than 21.
  • IELTS: With no band less than 6.
  • PTE: With no score less than 60 for any individual component.
