Scholarship Overview

The University of Melbourne invites applications for University of Melbourne, SAF Music Provident Fund 2021 from students enrolled in the Bachelor of Music Jazz and Improvisation or Bachelor of Music Interactive Composition. The fund aims to support loans and grants for purposes associated with their music studies. Selected students will be able to get a single payment of approximately AUD 250.

Selection Criteria

Eligible applicants will be assessed on artistic and academic merit, career aspirations, financial need and likely success in completing the proposed course of study.

Terms and Conditions

  • Students can only receive SAF funds once during their candidacy.
  • Approximately 40 scholarships are available under this scheme.
  • Applicants can expect an outcome eight weeks after the scholarship closing date.

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:  

  • Be an enrolled undergraduate student enrolled in the University of Melbourne Conservatorium of Music in either the Jazz and Improvisation or Interactive Composition disciplines
  • Be an Australian / domestic student or an International student
