About

Griffith University is a public research institution in South East Queensland, located on Australia's east coast. It was the first university to offer degrees in environmental science and Asian studies in Australia and it was officially founded in 1971. The university, which began with a single campus in Nathan with 451 students, currently has five campuses spread across three cities, with the Gold Coast campus in Southport and the Nathan campus in Brisbane being the two biggest. 

 

Griffith University’s acceptance rate stands at 50%. A full range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and research degrees are available at Griffith, which has about 50,000 students and offers programmes in business and government, criminology and law, education, engineering and information technology, environment, planning and architecture, health, humanities and languages, music, science and aviation, and visual and performing arts.
