About
Saskatchewan Polytechnic (formerly the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology or SIAST) is Saskatchewan's primary public post-secondary technical education and skills training institution, recognised nationally and internationally for its expertise and innovation. It serves 26,000 distinct students through program and course registrations with fields that touch every sector of the economy.
Sask Polytech, which has four campuses in Moose Jaw, Regina, Prince Albert, and Saskatoon, offers more than 80 certificate, diploma, and degree programs to international students. The institution has ten schools, divided into two categories: Economic Sector Schools, which drive businesses and industries, and Public Sector Schools, which drive the economy and society. Placement
The Saskatchewan Polytechnic placements department work directly with employers to offer student employment services (SES). Students can use an online job board that has been designed for them to advance their careers. The Polytechnic also teaches students how to create their cover letters, practise for interviews, and write their resumes.
