WOMEN – Zonta International
Zonta International is a scholarship programme directed towards promoting the rights, wellbeing and professional status of women worldwide. It is one of the PG scholarships of its kind providing opportunities for girl students. Under this programme, there are two types of scholarships provided namely:
- The Jane M Klausman Women in Business Scholarship which awards annual graduate scholarships for women studying business management at the masters’ level.
- The Amelia Earhart Fellowship is for women studying at PhD level in the aerospace field.
The recipients of the scholarship are required to be a part of the Zonta club. They will be awarded an amount of USD $8,000 to support their higher studies.
CANADA – Ontario Graduate Scholarships
Ontario Graduate Scholarship is one of the most sought-after PG scholarships. It is a programme funded by the Canadian government to encourage students to pursue their postgraduate studies from public universities in Ontario. While the government offers two-thirds of the funding, the universities offer the rest one-thirds. These merit-based scholarships are awarded to outstanding applicants demonstrating excellent academic reports. IRELAND – Government Of Ireland – International Education Scholarships (GOI – IES)
This PG scholarship scheme is managed by the Higher Education Authority (HEA) and it reflects the Irish Government’s commitment to providing higher education to both domestic as well as international students. The HEA awards an amount of 10,000 euros for one study year. It covers student costs as well as living costs.
The GOI – IES scholarship is amongst the top PG scholarships in Ireland and is awarded to increase international engagement. It is awarded to
- High calibre higher education students from the non EU/EEA countries.
- To students to study in Ireland for a period of one year.
The scholarship amount is provided by the HEA to the host institution of the scholar and the institution then provides the stipend amount in two equal instalments to the students.
SINGAPORE – Nanyang Scholarship
Nanyang scholarship is awarded by the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) to outstanding students who have excelled not only in their academics but have also demonstrated strong leadership potential and possess great co-curricular records. These PG scholarships cover all the years of study at NTU and provide students with allowances with respect to accommodation, living, travel, and computer.
Eligibility Criteria
- Recipients of this scholarship award must possess a complete undergraduate degree.
- Applicants must hold excellent academic records as per the Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘A’ level.
- The applicant must also hold outstanding co-curricular records.
- The applicant must possess great leadership skills.
Once the applicant receives the scholarship award, they must make sure that they adhere to the terms and conditions of the award.
MALAYSIA – Taylor’s Research Excellence International Awards
Taylor’s Research Excellence International Awards are PG scholarships in Malaysia that are granted based on the merit to students wanting to pursue their Master’s or PhD at Taylor’s University. Taylor’s University offers students 100% funded scholarships and expects students to become leaders in their fields of study.
Eligibility:
- Applicants from all around the world are eligible to apply
- Applicants must want to study a Master’s or PhD at this institution
