Agharkar Research Institute, Pune invites applications for Agharkar Research Institute Pune Junior Research Fellowship 2020 from master's degree holders. The fellowship is a temporary post for the project titled, “Studies on Selected Crinum species from Maharashtra for their Bioprospecting potential against Alzheimer’s disease”. The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship up to INR 31,000 per month plus HRA.

Terms and Conditions

• In case of deserving and exceptionally qualified candidates, desirable qualifications are relaxed at the discretion of the Competent Authority.
• Age relaxation of up to 5 years (Up to 33 years) is applicable for SC/ST/Differently-abled/women candidates.

To be eligible, an applicant must:

• Be up to 28 years of age (Note: 31 years for JRF candidates)
• Hold a Master's degree (1st class) in Biotechnology, Botany
• Have qualified CSIR/UGC/ICMR including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE

Experience in Plant Tissue Culture, Animal Cell Culture, Animal Handling is desirable
