The Anthony Jennings Memorial Prize was established in 1998 as a result of public subscription in memory of the late Anthony Jennings who was a valued member of the staff of the School of Music at the University of Auckland from 1976 to 1991.
Value of Anthony Jennings Memorial Prize 2020:
- The annual value of the Anthony Jennings Memorial Prize will be NZD 2,100.
A recipient of the Anthony Jennings Memorial Prize may be awarded the prize a second time. The Prize shall be awarded by the University of Auckland Council on the recommendation of the Head of the School of Music.
Eligibility
- The Prize will be awarded to the student enrolled in a Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Music (Honours), Postgraduate Diploma in Music or Master of Music who is deemed to be most deserving of encouragement in the study of Baroque Performance
