The University of Sydney invites applications for the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences International Undergraduate Commencing Scholarship 2020 from international applicants of undergraduate courses at University of Sydney. The aim of this scholarship is to support meritorious international students who want to pursue undergraduate degree courses in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at The University of Sydney. Selected students will get the financial assistance of AUD 5,000 each.

Selected scholars will get the financial assistance of AUD 5,000 each for one year.

Academic merit of the applicants is the selection criteria for this scholarship.

• Annual value of the scholarship will be paid in two equal instalments in two semesters.
• To continue with the scholarship in the next semester, the students must maintain a minimum of 65 Semester Average Mark (SAM) in each semester.
• Once the scholarship gets terminated, it will not be reinstated unless it is due to university error. 
• No other amount than the scholarship value will be paid.
• The scholarship award will be given to students on the nomination of the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences or their nominated delegate.
