Scholarship Overview

Trent University, Canada invites applications for Trent International Global Citizen Scholarships and Awards 2021 from international students getting admission in undergraduate studies at Trent University. The students possessing excellent academic achievement, leadership potential, and community service record can avail scholarship up to CAD 25,000 per academic year.

Benefits

The selected students will receive the following benefits -

  • Scholarship up to CAD 25,000 per academic year to cover tuition and ancillary fees (excluding housing)
  • Award in the form of partial reduction of tuition fees by CAD 3,000 to CAD 10,000 per academic year

Documents

  • Completed application form
  • An essay of about 500 words outlining the applicant's future career goals and academic aspirations
  • A record of the applicant's most recent community service, extra-curricular activities and leadership
  • Two essays of about 500 words on the topics specified in the application form
  • Two letters of reference 
  • Income documentation

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:

  • Be entering into an undergraduate course program at Trent University, Canada
  • Have an excellent academic record
  • Possess leadership potential and community service record
  • Be seeking financial assistance to pursue higher studies

Eligible candidates taking admission to the university can apply for the scholarship through following steps -

Step 2: Download the application form (either in word format or PDF format).
Step 3: Fill in the application form and combine all supporting documents as one PDF file. 
Step 4: Send the completed application via email to international@trentu.ca with applicant's full name and Trent student number in the subject line.
