About

Bayes Business School is a part of University College London (UCL), one of the largest and most highly regarded universities in the UK. The school is named after Thomas Bayes, a prominent 18th-century statistician and mathematician. Previously known as Cass Business School, it is based in St Luke's, just north of the City of London. It was founded in 1966 and has regularly been regarded as one of the top business schools in the United Kingdom. 

 

The City University Business School was established in 1966 as a division of the City University of London. The school relocated to new premises in the London Borough of Islington in 2002, thanks to a bequest from the Sir John Cass Foundation, and changed its title to Cass Business School. Because of John Cass' connections to slavery, the institution was renamed Bayes Business School on September 6, 2021, following Thomas Bayes,  theologian and mathematician widely recognised for his seminal work on probabilistic reasoning. 

 

Bayes Business School’s acceptance rate stands at 14% only and has admitted more than 4,200 students in the past academic year.  Bayes Business School has three faculties where it offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses, these are:

Bayes Business School is part of the City, the University of London, which has a main campus in Northampton Square as well as three satellite campuses. Students at the Business School can participate in over 30 clubs and organisations encompassing a wide range of interests.
